Oscar@ICU

This is Oscar's spot at the ICU. He's laying on a heat pad and above is a heating lamp (but the lamp hasn't been used for our babies).

On the left (top) is the monitor for heart rate, oxygen levels, breathing and so on. The sensor is like a strap of rubber, "wrapped" around the baby's foot or hand and connected by a cord.

On the left (below) is the CPAP machine that helps Oscar get enough oxygen. The monitor displays amount of oxygen, temperature, flow rate and so on. Two tubes thick as a little finger of an adult find their way to Oscar, and he then gets his extra oxygen through a small "mask" over his nose. The mask is kept in place by straps that connects to his hat.
